In response to Romania's undervaluation of Gen Z as a workforce, McDonald’s launched "Looking for Experiences, Not Experience" – the employer hit song directly challenging outdated hiring criteria, treating life experience as job qualifications and fighting Zoomers’ exclusion from the workplace with Zoomers. This led to 70% more Zoomers applications, 2X more total applications, 40% reach increase and 46.1% increase in engagement versus last year’s campaign, morphing McDonald’s into Gen Z's career launcher and cultural champion, proving the brand is not just flipping burgers, it flipped the employment script.
