Background/objectives:
For 113 years, ACR has been fighting to improve the safety of Romanian roads as our country has the highest number of accident-related deaths in Europe.
Strategy:
Instead of talking directly to drivers, we talked to the passengers instead – more precisely, the driver’s children, through “Mr Bear Driver”, a GPS-connected mobile game that warned the children if mommy or daddy were speeding.
Results:
We got over 680K eur in earned media and reached almost 9 million people. Our app became the most downloaded app in Games and Educational categories in App Store.
