Background/objectives: Carrefour is Romania's longest-standing hypermarket facing the hardship of the new retail order.
After a low-performing Easter season, Carrefour needed a big comeback by the end of 2015, strong enough to help the brand stop the bleeding.

Strategy: To celebrate the cinema release of Star Wars CARREFOUR INVITED ROMANIA TO SHOP LIKE A JEDI.

Results: After a low performing Easter Season, without flashing aggressive price offers and with a significant smaller network than its competitors, Carrefour turned around its decline, proving how imaginative and strategic use of Star Wars sponsorship can create significant brand business growth.
