Starting this year, Effie Romania is aligning to the international Effie format, expanding its mission and becoming a platform with several events, workshops and materials focused on learning and feedback for an effective marketing. The stake is to increase the standards of marketing and communication market in Romania by transmission of know-how and debates to complement recognition offered by the Effie trophies.
One of the biggest changes is brought to the judging process by introducing moderate debates.
The moderators who will serve to initiate and lead the discussions between the members of a jury: Adina Nica, Managing Director Open-I Research, Adriana Gherman, Management Consultant, Angela Gavrilescu, Senior Consultant The Network, Dan Zloteanu Business Consultant & Marketing Researcher MRI Research & Consulting / part of TheNetwork, Diana Flutur, Life & Business Coach / Public Speaker & Motivator, Luca de Nard, Managing Director of The Nielsen Company, Mihaela Alexandru, Research Director 360Insights Mădălina Cârstea, GFK Custom Research & Strategy Director and Narcis Horhoianu, Marketing Director of Heineken Romania.
The new strategy encourages discussion between the judges. The role of a moderator is to create the context in which jurors better understand the specifics of each category and each case study in order to eliminate any questions or misunderstanding. In addition, all these discussions will contribute to an Effie Insight Guide – a material that will summarise the most important reactions and suggestions from jurors about trends observed following the judging sessions. Effie Insight Guide will be a tool to help agencies and clients to create the most effective campaigns, gaining a better look on the market.
