To the shock of Remain voters, Leave extremists felt legitimized by the Brexit Referendum to attack Romanian immigrants. Gandul.info, a leading editorial voice for Romanians everywhere, had to step in while generating positive coverage for all Romanian diaspora in international media.
Strategy:
As empathy is the best weapon against hate, we empowered pro-European Romanians to offer a helping hand to the equally pro-European Remainians, and launched in 48h a symbolic adoption platform on RomaniansAdoptRemainians.eu.
Results:
